Acme Brick Park
Acme Brick Park
Visit Acme Brick Park, Clinton's crown jewel, for over 143 acres of fun. This recreational complex includes indoor activities such as a cardio room, a weight room, batting cages, racquetball courts, ping pong tables and pool tables. Outdoor activities include six 1/2 court basketball courts, three softball fields, three baseball fields, 15 soccer fields, two batting cages and two fishing ponds. Acme Brick Park also features a 45,000 square foot pavilion and a one-mile nature trail that winds around two ponds within the park.
The highlight of Acme Brick Park in Clinton is the M.T. and Helen Gholston's Children's Park, an elaborate wooden playground designed by local children and built by volunteers. The park, which resembles a wooden castle, features everything from slides to tire swings. Families will also enjoy rides on a replica 19th century CP Huntington train that can hold over 100 passengers on excursions throughout the park. Take a one-mile train ride that crosses the park's lake over a scenic bridge and even goes through a dark tunnel. Train rides are held seasonally.
