Enjoy a show and a piece of history at the Southwest Playhouse Fine Arts Center in Clinton. The local community theatre was founded in 1965 and the current theatre building was converted from a historic stock show arena.

Today, the theatre produces a variety of entertaining plays by playwrights from the 20th century and today. Southwest Playhouse produces four shows each season with an average between 600 and 1,000 patrons per show.
