Native American artist Cha’ Tullis brightened up Main Street in Hominy with his “Shield of Redwing” mural. Tullis carefully selected its vibrant paint to show the importance of colors and their respective meanings to Native American people. Specific colors serve as indicators for certain clans, animals, medicines and significant places.
