McKenzie's Burger Garage offers up some of the best and juiciest burgers in Lawton. McKenzie's started in the 1940s as an automotive shop. Over the decades, it remained an important Lawton business. In 2014, Les McKenzie decided to fulfill a longtime dream and convert the shop into a classic car-themed diner with fantastic burgers, fries and milkshakes.  The fully renovated shop is now just that, a classic American diner with a fun, retro feel.

They take their burgers seriously at McKenzie's. Try the Tune Up Burger made with grilled onions, mushrooms and Swiss, or sample the California burger made with guacamole, bacon and Monterey Jack cheese.  If you're feeling brave, try the Flaming Fuel Burger made with the notoriously fiery ghost pepper. Don't forget classic sides like fries, onion rings and fried okra, all of which McKenzies's pulls off with flair. Other favorites are available if you don't feel like having a burger such as chicken strips, chili dogs and chicken salad. Make sure to stop by their gift shop during your visit too.
