Cowlington Point Campground
Cowlington Point Campground, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, sits on a small peninsula on the southern edge of the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. This campground offers 35 campsites, each one featuring back-in driveways and water hookups. A total of 32 of the sites are equipped with 15-amp electric hookups, and three are non-electric sites.
A handicap-accessible group picnic shelter is available for the public to reserve, and it also features water and 15-amp electric hookups. Flush and vault toilets, a dump station, showers and drinking water are also provided at Cowlington Point Campground. A boat ramp and swimming beach allow access to the reservoir, and a playground, picnic tables and fire rings add to the fun of camping.
