Held since the 1940s to promote the strawberries grown in the area, the annual Stilwell Strawberry Festival has become one of Oklahoma's most-loved hometown traditions.

Over 30,000 visitors make the trek each year to Stilwell, the "Strawberry Capital of the World." The all-day festival will take place on Saturday and will feature a 5K run, parade, carnival rides, plenty of vendor booths, a car show, and the crowing of the Strawberry Festival Queen. Bring your sweet tooth and fill up on free strawberries and ice cream served in the afternoon. 

There are plenty of activities in the days leading up to the big day on Saturday. The carnival opens on Wednesday evening and the first day of the Strawberry Festival Rodeo kicks off on Thursday. On Friday evening, head downtown to watch the "Stilwell's Got Talent" show and participate in the corn hole contest.
