Celebrate Oklahoma’s Western heritage at the Stockyards Stampede in Oklahoma City. Located in the historic Stockyards City district, this event features a parade, chuckwagon cooking and live music. The festival starts with a parade of longhorns down main street beginning at the iconic National Stockyards archway.
Afterwards, sample cobbler, stew, cornbread and more while shopping locally-made wares from the Made in Oklahoma Market. The Kids Corral will have fun activities for kids of all ages such as a petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting. Bring the whole crew over to the Western Photo Booth to capture the moment. Before you head home, be sure to check out the several shops and restaurants around Stockyards City. Don’t miss this lively celebration of Oklahoma’s Western heritage.
