Located in Sapulpa just north of Route 66, the Booker T. Washington Recreation Center offers a gymnasium, arcade, ping pong room, weight room, outdoor basketball court and playground, and conference room with attached kitchen. Booker T. Washington (BTW) staff offer a variety of structured and non-structured / drop-in activities for all ages.

The weight training and fitness room includes free weights, bench press, squat rack, leg extension, lat pulldown machine, treadmills, recumbent bikes, elliptical trainers and more. The Fitness Room is available during BTW regular hours of operation. A small fee applies.

Booker T. Washington, a previous school, has great historical significance to Sapulpa. Many community members grew up attending BTW or visiting it frequently during their youth and they now have children themselves who visit the Recreation Center regularly. The rich history has created a community center that strengthens family and community bonds while promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging personal growth.
