US Army Field Artillery Museum
Learn about artillery history from the American Revolution to modern-day operations exhibits with a trip to the US Army Field Artillery Museum in Fort Sill. As one of the oldest continuously serving branches in the US Army, Fort Sill has been home to field artillery for more than a century. Displays throughout this local museum feature more than 70 guns and artillery pieces found throughout three separate galleries. After touring the indoor exhibits, featuring winter fatigues, World War II weapons, and patches, be sure to head outdoors to explore onsite artillery, from tanks to the original Atomic Annie, an M65 gun designed to launch nuclear shots.
