Painted Plains Mural

The colorful two-story “Painted Plains” mural by Oklahoma City street artist Jason Pawley was completed in 2017 on the alley-facing side of PaneVino Wine & Steak in downtown Enid. The cheerful design signifies Oklahoma's radiantly colored sunsets and wildflowers, and wine hues were utilized as a nod to the wine bar inside. Using aerosol and acrylic paint, Pawley contiguously placed his signature soft, organic nature-based shapes to create vibrant illustrations. Restaurant owner Mickey De La Cruz commissioned the project to beautify Enid's downtown alleyways.
