See the second largest herd of Asian elephants in America at the Endangered Ark Foundation in Hugo. This non-profit organization was started in 1993 by D.R. and Isla Miller to help preserve endangered elephants and educate the public about these beautiful creatures.
Book a weekend tour to meet these gentle giants and see the two buildings that make up the Endangered Ark Foundation. Admire the personalities and learn the backgrounds of Cameron Lee, Dori Marie, Suzy, Delrita, Obert, Rosie, Margaret, Tommy, Val, Alta, Traci, Libby, Lisa, Lillie, Whimpy and Zola. You also experience interactive educational demonstrations of elephant care and have a chance to take an "Elephie Selfie." Come ready with questions about Asian elephants, their behaviors and preservation efforts.
