This 12-mile paved pathway, for walking, jogging and biking, runs mostly along the Caney River and Turkey Creek, connecting Johnstone Park, Robinwood Park, Jo Allyn Lowe Park, Sooner Park, Eastland Shopping Center, Bartlesville High School and the Wesleyan Church. Wildlife can be seen throughout the wooded areas.

Signs are posted along the bird trails identifying birds that can be seen and heard along the path. Near the center of the Bird Trail portion of the Pathfinder Parkway lies one of its gems, a beautifully-arched suspension bridge over the Caney River surrounded by forest. There is a tunnel under Price Road at Jo Allyn Lowe Park which extends the Pathfinder Parkway to Colonial Estates, giving this southernmost addition access to the City's trails. Picnic and restroom facilities are available at Johnstone Park at the northern end of the trail.
