Bass anglers can also catch sand bass, largemouth bass, black bass, spotted bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass during one of several bass tournaments held here each year. Facilities at Lake Hudson include boat ramps, designated campsites, restrooms, picnic areas, dump facilities and a playground.

Situated in a natural river valley and resting at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, Lake Hudson is second in a chain of three lakes along the Grand River. Located near the larger Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, this lake is a haven for wildlife. Popular with sportsmen during the fall and winter months, the area surrounding the lake is home to plenty of whitetail deer, duck and geese. Make your way to Lake Hudson for sport, or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lake. Enjoy majestic bluffs, rolling hills and quiet, secluded coves.

A wide variety of water sports are available on Lake Hudson. This lake offers easy public access to numerous boat ramps, recreational areas and marinas. Bring your boat or a pair of water skis and fly across the serene waters of the lake, or simply bring along a tent and take advantage of the overnight camping available at several scenic locations including Snowdale Park, a first-come, first-served campground managed by the Grand River Dam Authority. Come to Lake Hudson, located only a short drive from Tulsa and the city of Tahlequah, for a wealth of outdoor activities, water recreation and scenic splendor.
