Boy Scout Park
Boy Scout Park
Boy Scout Park is a favorite children's destination for the 64x80-ft splash pad. Cool off under the flower shower, triple fun tree or water whoosh, which features a 20-foot bucket dump feature. The entire park is just over 9 acres and boasts a variety of outdoor recreation fun for the whole family.
With grassy, rolling gentle hills perfect for picnics and play, you’ll want to pack a lunch and choose a shady spot under a tree or at one of the picnic tables for a full day of the great outdoors. Take advantage of the four tennis courts, numerous playgrounds and basketball courts peppered around the park during your visit.
There are 27 picnic tables, along with numerous charcoal grills, ideal for your summer cookout. A short 0.5 mile trail leads to disc golf or a huge pavilion for special events. One picnic area is ADA-friendly, and it’s the only park in the region with a storm shelter. Restroom facilities are clean, patrolled and well-maintained. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the last of summer, Boy Scout Park in Shawnee has everything you need.
