Western Avenue in Oklahoma City commissioned local artists to paint murals across the district. Local artist Jason Pawley painted his “Red Tail Hawk” mural in 2014, which depicts a familiar Oklahoma bird that is often considered to be a spirit guide that brings a message of change. Pawley painted this mural to depict the idea of viewing situations with a higher perspective.
