Don’t miss the annual Stockyards Stampede in Historic Stockyards City this October. The Slash O' Ranch Longhorns will kick off the event by parading down the street, starting at the iconic Oklahoma National Stockyards archway.

An authentic Chuck Wagon camp will be set up where you can view demonstrations of traditional cooking and sample cobbler, stew and cornbread. A Made in Oklahoma Market will include locally made and produced items.

Various types of demonstrations and tastings will be held throughout the day, including a wine tasting event. Purchase a wristband to sample beef and vote for your favorite at Oklahoma’s Best Beef Competition.

The Kids Corral will have many fun activities including a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and dummy roping. AgVenture Land will also be on site, a hands-on educational exhibit that teaches children about agriculture. All ages can enjoy snapping photos at the western photo booth.

Live entertainment will include the Little Miss and Mr. Stockyards City Pageant as well as live music by Tanner Fields, Michael and Lela Dalby, Cowboy Jim Garling, Richard Sharp, and Maddox Ross.
