Enid Cemetery Tombstone Tales
Enid Cemetery Tombstone Tales
Step into a horse-drawn wagon and travel back in time with Enid Cemetery Tombstone Tales. As you ride through the cemetery after dark, the wagon stops at certain tombstones, where costumed re-enactors portraying historic Enid figures step out of the shadows to tell their stories. Get into the spirit of Halloween and find out what secrets have been taken to the grave.
Meet Ms. Roper who was kidnapped by the Cheyenne Indians and held for two months, a Civil War veteran who won the Congressional Medal of Honor, or a young lady who at the age of 18 made her run into the Cherokee Outlet and secured 180 acres. Guests on the tour are sure to have a ghostly good time while learning the history of this Oklahoma town.
