Mabel B. Little Heritage House Museum
Located in Tulsa's historic Greenwood District, the Mabel B. Little Heritage House is located on the grounds of the Greenwood Cultural Center. Originally built and owned by Tulsa Race Massacre survivors Sam and Lucy Mackey family, this red brick home was dedicated to Mabel B. Little in 1986, who also survived the tragic events of 1921. Little and her husband were instrumental in helping to renovate Black Wall Street's Mount Zion Baptist Church, along with their lifelong efforts to revitalize the Greenwood District. Rebuilt in 1925, this home gives visitors a glance at life in historic Greenwood while honoring Little’s accomplishments, victims of the massacre and the legacy of Tulsa’s African American community.
