The Washita County Museum in Cordell is housed in the old Carnegie Library, which was built in 1911. Additional attractions include a pioneer rock house built in 1893, along with a farm barn and horse-drawn implements. Visitors will also have the chance to see a chuck wagon from 1890, farm home displays and other items and records of Washita County development from 1890 to the present. Other area stops can be coordinated for tour groups with advance notice.
