This 1898 historic home of Judge John R. Thomas and historians Grant and Carolyn Thomas Foreman contains an eclectic collection of books and memorabilia from the Foreman's many trips abroad. Included are rare photos, documents and Native American works of art. The life of Dr. Thomas J. Pressley, long-time family friend and caretaker of the home, and John R Thomas, Jr., Rough Rider in the Spanish-American War, are also featured. Interpretive displays have been created to recapture the unique history of the five fascinating people associated with one of Muskogee's oldest homes.

The Thomas-Foreman Historical Home is also reported to be haunted. According to legend, Dr. Pressley, the home's caretaker, repeatedly saw the ghost of Mrs. Foreman standing in the home's doorway watching him as he worked outside. The home is also reported to have cold spots, leaving visitors with a general feeling of unease.
