Sportsman Lake in Seminole is a beautiful 354-acre lake with 15 miles of shoreline. The lake's facilities include 69 mostly shady campsites, boat ramps, boat docks, fishing docks, swimming area, camper parking, electrical hookups, picnic areas, grills, three covered pavilions, restrooms, playground, group shelter, showers and equestrian trails and facilities. A bridge over a small cove and a fishing dock offer easy access for angling.
A variety of campsites are available including ten shaded RV sites with 30 amp full hookups, eleven RV sites with 50 amp partial hookups, nineteen RV sites with 30 amp partial hookups, 29 primitive camping sites and three RV sanitary stations. There are paved and gravel interior roads throughout the RV campsites as well.
Sportsman Lake's equestrian facilities include 20 pipe corrals, numerous picket poles, a covered pavilion with electricity, restrooms, showers, 12 water/30 amp campsites and one primitive camping site. A ride permit is required for the equestrian trails and maps are available at the trailhead.
Reservations are accepted for pavilions, campsites and the event building that includes central heat and air as well as a kitchen and restrooms. Camping reservations have a two-week maximum stay except for eight sites between November 1st and March 1st. Call the Lake Ranger at 405-788-6745 to make your campsite reservation.
