Animal Ambassadors live in state park nature centers and in park offices across the state. Whether because of improper care, being kept as illegal pets or suffering from permanent injuries, illness or birth defects, these amazing animals cannot be rehabilitated to their natural habitat. In their cozy new state park homes, these ambassadors do a wonderful job of educating park guests about Oklahoma’s native wildlife.

In addition to visiting the Animal Ambassadors, you can directly help with their care by donating items from the park’s dedicated Amazon pages at the links below.

Keep in mind, all Animal Ambassadors are licensed rescues. Oklahoma State Parks does not accept animals from the public. If you need assistance with an injured animal in your area, call your game warden or check with one of the county rehabilitators at this link: Oklahoma Wildlife Department Rehabilitator List
