Join the Osage Hills State Park staff for a first day hike at your chosen level of difficulty. The moderate-level, .75-mile hike will meet at the overlook at 9am. The easy-level, one-mile hike will meet at the ball field at 11am and hike the Creek loop. Bring your leashed pets (leashes no longer than 10 feet), a camera, binoculars, water, hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Snacks and hot beverages will be provided after the hike. 

The event is held in conjunction with the America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative that will take place in all 50 states. First Day Hikes encourage individuals and families to start the year off on the right foot with a trek through a state park.
