Arbuckle Mountain Original Fried Pies
Aired On: 2010-01-30From a humble little ex-convenience store, owner Nancy Fulton has built her own pastry empire, giving tourists an excellent reason besides nearby Turner Falls to get off the interstate and spend a little time in the scenic Arbuckle Mountains. Working from a time-honored family recipe, Fulton fills her light, flaky pastries with all manner of goodies ranging from chocolate, blackberry and peach to apple coconut and apricot, each of which is also available in a sugar-free variety. There’s even a bacon-egg-and-cheese fried pie for breakfast!
