Tishomingo Hiking Trails
Three and a half miles of scenic and peaceful hiking trails await you in Tishomingo’s Pennington Park within walking distance of downtown Tishomingo. Located along Pennington Creek, this beautiful 15-acre park features seven short trails that weave through the lush creekside area. As you stroll under the tree canopy, you'll pass historical landmarks and educational signage of the area’s rich history. Follow the trails past the Johnston County War Memorial, an old war tank and up to the Chickasaw National Capitol as you meander through town.
The Tishomingo Hiking Trails are a great place to walk, jog or bike individually or with a family. The park offers a splash pad and playground for the kids, shelters for a picnic break and easy access to restrooms. If you want to stay awhile, take advantage of tent camping and RV spaces within the park.
