Located on the southwestern side of Oologah Lake, Hawthorne Bluff Campground is a large, shaded campground offering 56 spots for both tent and RV camping. Most of the sites include 30 amp electric hookups, and one RV site is pull-through. Hawthorne Bluff also has handicap accessible campsites with plenty of room to park.

This pet-friendly park also boasts one swimming beach, three playgrounds, two shower stations and two day-use picnic shelters. Hawthorne Bluff Campground is also unique for its beautiful amphitheater with gazebo that can accommodate up to 100 guests. After setting up camp, venture out on the interpretive nature trail that runs through the campground. Hawthorne Bluff is operated by the Army Corps of Engineers.
