The Vault
Uniquely tucked into what was was originally the First National Auto Bank in the 1950s, The Vault is now one of Tulsa's most celebrated restaurants. Step into this historic structure and find a seat surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and retro decor. Start with an expertly mixed cocktail like the crooked banker featuring flaming absinthe rinse, Bulleit bourbon, Punt e Mes and Cointreau. Or, try a twist on a classic like the Oaxacan old fashioned, made with Luna Azul reposado, agave syrup, mole and orange bitters.
For lunch at The Vault, sample delicious sandwiches like a traditional BLT or unique grilled cheese boasting sharp cheddar, smoked provolone, red onion, green apple and basil. Lunch options come with a salad, chips or yogurt drizzled with local honey and topped with fruit.
Dinner choices at The Vault range from homestyle favorites to modern culinary wonders. Try appetizers like pretzels slathered with herb butter and cheddar or mussels cooked in white wine and served alongside sourdough. A favorite entree is a pasta tossed with sausage, eggplant, spinach, cherry tomatoes, lemon, garlic, parmesan and walnuts. Other options include a beef filet with scalloped potatoes, seasonal vegetables and herb butter. Vegetarian options like eggplant moussaka are available, a dish loaded with fresh eggplant, garbanzos, mushrooms, lentils, onion and cherry tomatoes.
In addition to a charming and refined dining room, The Vault features a bar area called the Tom Tom Room that is the perfect place for late night drinks. In addition to the one-of-a-kind cocktails, the bar serves eco-friendly wines and a handful of imported and domestic beers. Cocktails are always mixed with syrups made in house, fresh squeezed juices and quality spirits. If you're looking for something sweet, try the key lime pie, 24 karat cake or a strawberry malt. For a truly unique experience, enjoy food and drink on the restaurant's second story patio.
