Master the art of the barn quilt at the Basic Barn Quilt Workshop at The Chisholm in Kingfisher. Barn quilts are square-shaped boards painted to resemble quilt blocks and then put on buildings. These pieces of art have evolved into a rural development initiative to boost tourism in communities. Lindy Hoel, Oklahoma State University Extension Educator, will lead the workshop. Each participant will complete a barn quilt to display proudly at home. Registration is limited to 24 people and the admission fee includes lunch.
