Celebrate the centennial year of Route 66 in Sapulpa at Proceed to the Route, a community festival held right on the iconic Mother Road. Located along Dewey Avenue in downtown Sapulpa, often called the “Heart of Route 66,” this event invites visitors to continue the celebration after Tulsa’s Capital Cruise with a small-town experience full of Americana.
Visitors will enjoy live music, classic cars, local art, shopping and a variety of food vendors — all along Sapulpa’s walkable, beautifully preserved downtown district. While visiting Sapulpa, be sure to check out the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum featuring vintage cars, classic motorcycles, tons of Route 66 memorabilia and the world’s tallest gas pump.
