This spring, head to Black Mesa State Park for the DarkSky Park Celebration. Black Mesa is the first Oklahoma State Park to be designated as a DarkSky Park, in part for the exceptionally dark skies of the panhandle. This weekend celebration will include night hikes (flashlights required), telescope viewings with the OKC Astronomy Club, a cowboy talk around the campfire and much more. Celebrate the star-studded beauty of Black Mesa State Park at this nocturnal event in April.
