Honor the life of local dance instructor Shannon Calderón during the Calderón Dance Festival at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City this May. Calderón was best known for owning the "Everything Goes Dance" studio and performing alongside the Oklahoma City Ballet, Canterbury Chorale Society and the OKC Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Festival-goers will have a chance to celebrate Calderón's vision for community dance through free dance classes, performances and artist panels. Classes will range from various styles and levels of difficulty to traditional and specialized forms taught by experts. Stick around to hear discussions led by local dance instructors, studio owners, teachers and dancers. Put on your dancing shoes – this interactive, all-day event in the heart of Oklahoma City is one you won't want to miss.
