In 1957, the future Oklahoma State University was still known as Oklahoma A&M, and its sports teams went by the name Aggies instead of Cowboys or Cowgirls. But the university was far from being the only Stillwater institution that would still have a statewide presence more than 50 years later. That year, the original Hideaway served its first pizza to hungry students, and since then, the Hideaway brand has expanded across Oklahoma, becoming famous for its hearty pies, crisp salads and memorable decor highlighted by imaginative collages.
